I removed the grove connector and in my haste, damaged the solder points on the board. Is there another location to solder wires to for tx and rx data? I can get ground and vcc from the solder points down toward the bottom right of the back of the board. Thanks in advance.

@taitkj Just curious why you removed the grove connector, it's very useful!
What board exactly do you have?
The GPIO pins can be used for almost any function, so you could channel your UART wires to them.

@teastain2 I was following a video I saw about adding GPS and screwed up. They went the route of removing the plug and soldering to the pads. Went the route of removing it based on that. Realized my mistake afterward. Ruined the tx and rx pads in the process. Patience is not always my approach. I have another T-Deck and am NOT removing it from that one. Still very new to these devices and Meshtastic. Glad I can use the other pins for GPS use. I guess I need to do some reading. Thank you for the help. I appreciate it very much

@teastain2 sorry, forgot board information. It has the following info on the chip:

            868/915Mhz
            Model: LORA32
            SX1262

            Thank you again
