@macauhome I have a very similar issue with my v1 watch but sometimes the watch makes touches on it's own. Your issues is what my issues started out with until they evolved into bigger issues.

I received a TWatch 2020 V1 for Christmas (Dec 25 2021) and ever since I received it, the device's touchscreen does not always understand my touches and will sometimes misinterperet them. I have upgraded to the firmware available at https://github.com/sharandac/My-TTGO-Watch and the performance has not improved from the stock firmware. It is completely random when the touchscreen works or does not work, and sometimes the touchscreen will make movement on it's own.

I have tried the following:

• Rebooting the watch
• Reseating the cable just behind the battery inside the watch which might be the touchscreen but I was not sure
• Leaving it uncharged then charging it partially
• Charging it fully

I just need to know if I'm missing something, maybe there is something I can reseat that I have not been reseating that might help with the touchscreen, or some other solution? It would be a great help.
