T-Display S3 Pro - battery charging?
-
I recently bought the T-Display S3 Pro and have a question about the battery charging behavior. If I have the switch in the off position and I plug in the USB cable, the charge (RED) LED flashes rapidly. By this I mean at least 2x per second, maybe faster. This flashing is there all of the time and never goes away.
When the switch is in the ON position and the battery is charging, the RED charging LED turn on and stays on. When the battery is fully charged (I think it’s charged) the LED turns on for a brief time (sometimes just a flash, other times for up to 3 seconds) and then turns off for some time (25 -30 seconds).
My question is if this behavior is normal or if my T-Display S3 Pro faulty in some way because to me, the behavior is odd.

The flashing red light is the battery charger IC status light.
Your board uses an uncommon, but apparently sophisticated charge IC, so I can only speculate.
The only possible states are OFF, flashing at different rates or ON.
You should learn what the light means through observation. The other LilyGO boards with different LED indicators do something similar.
