Adding GIF to AMOLED T-Display-S3

Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask, but is t at all possible to add animated gifs, resized to proportion, on the T-Display? Ive watched a number of Volos' vids but cant seem to get confirmation if its even possible. Ideally Id like to display a video, but IM pretty sure thats not possible. ANy help greatly appreciated!
