How to replace OLED display on TTGO ESP32 LoRa32 V2.1.6

I have accidentally cracked the 0.96" OLED display, it does not work any more. But the board is 100% functional so I want to replace the display. I have already ordered one from the LiLyGo shop, and now I need some instructions on (i) how to remove the old display, and (ii) how to add the new one. What is the process to lose the old adhesive, and what kind of adhesive to use to attach the new display?
