I flashed my T-Display S3 board with this firmware https://github.com/russhughes/st7789s3_mpy
I used the Thonny IDE for flashing. Everything was loaded but now I have a problem. When I connect the board to the PC via USB, it recognizes the board for a second and then loses it again. Im using WIN10, I see the whole time poping up "USB JTAG/Serial debug unit eject" for a second and then disappear. Before I flashed it I had no problems with the USB connection. Did I break the board or is there anything I can do?

        invalid header: 0xffffffff
thats what the thonny IDE is saying,
so that is why it disconnects the usb after connecting for 1 sec
Is there a option to turn the header reading off in windows? so it just connects and does nothing? Can't find anything on google 😞

I have the same problem. Windows 10 finds the Lilygo T-Display S3 and then loses the connection immediately. The game repeats as long as the USB cable is plugged in.
Does no one else have this error?
Has no one found a solution to this?

Hi.. I had the same problem.. I flashed the T-Display S3 using a Win10 and the espressif flash download tool (with Thonny always display the invalid header you said). The first issue (in the espressif tool) is to check the location of the firmware file and the memory location are in green. Second I had to flash the T-Display S3 in safe mode (Win10), because at half of the load it disconnected the device. Third put the TDisplay S3 in download mode pressing at the same time the reset and boot buttons, then release first the reset button, next the boot button, finally begin the flash. After that everything was OK. I followed the instructions of this video.. it is in spanish.. but you can switch the subtitles on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxXz-tmNuWU&t=624s
