T-Display-s3 U.FL connector

In the case of T-Display-s3, the antenna just needs to be plugged into the connector and the Bluetooth/Wifi already works through it, or does something have to be soldered through it? Thank you!

The built in antenna, on the back side opposite the LilyGO logo works...OK for testing.
I get about 10m before ESP_NOW drops out.
You can plug in an external antenna and extend the range.

Possibly you need to swing the resistor 90 down towards the antenna socket:

It would be tedious work and dangerous to the board!

@kaly__ I tried this yesterday to pretty good results using an IPEX1 connector and a small antenna, no board modifications. Went from no connection to ~-75dB in my downstairs workshop.
